Just want to give you a progress report on this house that we started doing remodeling two weeks ago. The first week we demoed this house. It took us three containers would you say. Two 40 yard containers get all the shit out of the house. So there’s a lot, a lot of crap in the house.
Second week. We’re going to do all the other things. We’re prepping for paint. Actually, we painted already one coat. We’re doing one more coat of paint. We are repairing damages to some of the exterior sidings, as well as doing some electrical work. So let me just show you the inside of the house so you get to see what I see here. All right. The house is in a way better shape than before. We put in the can lights. We’re going to do some electrical work here. There used to be a wall here, but now it’s gone. Yeah, we will get the flooring Monday. So we’re going to lay all the flooring in the whole house. This is the kitchen and the dining room area. So I got the kitchen design already. This is going to be an L kitchen that we have, and I’m going over the measurements with my guys here before I order the cabinets.
So this is actually a 1650 square foot house. It’s got three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There used to be, I don’t even know what kind of flooring was for this house. So we had to hammer its tile. I’m sorry. Which is prepping it for flooring.
So, you can see that the flooring here is not level. So we’ll have to put some thin plywood, to make it level. This is the master. This is the bathroom. We actually enlarged it. There used to be a shelf on the other side. And there used to be a wall. We knocked it out and we enlarged the shower, got a 48-inch shower pan here from Home Depot. Okay. Did the work to the wall. She rocked it, prep it, and we’re going to paint it. Okay. We did one layer and the texture for the rest of the walls is done here.
So I think that we’re making headway. Used to smell really, really bad. Not anymore. This is the last bedroom.
Dual paint windows. There used to be carpet here. So we ripped out the carpet and we’re prepping the flooring. We’re prepping the floor for the new vinyl flooring that we’re going to put throughout this whole house. We get tile here in this big, big, second master bathroom here.
So we left the vanity here. We’re just going to replace the fixture as well as the shower fixture here. This is kind of ugly, but we’re going to make it look really, really nice. And I’m confident. This is probably, I don’t know how many houses we flipped. There’s a lot.
So let me just show you the garage again. It’s a two-car garage. It’s got everything that a homeowner would ask for. Can I send you a DM? Yes, of course. We have so much stuff in the garage as well. It used to be piled, piles of junk. So we’re just slowly getting everything out of the house. We’re going to call another 40 yards most likely when it’s time for us to do so. All right. So let’s do this, Jason. Yeah. I’m actually here in Citrus Heights, so you’re not too far from me.
I did promise you guys that I would do this every single week just to give you a progress report. So this is the second week into this house and you may not see too much progress, but I’ve seen a lot of progress already. You know, we painted the wall. Yeah. And next week the flooring is going to be in. Right? All the outlets will be changed. The electrical work will be done to the house.
The can lights that we did in the kitchen weren’t there before and now it’s there. I’m ordering a chandelier actually for the dining room. Okay. So this is the dining room. We’re going to have a chandelier, a very nice one. And we have three or four in our spreadsheet that we can pick out from.
So we’re going to finish flooring, we’re going to finish baseboards, we’re going to finish the exterior. We’re going to make tremendous progress this coming week. I’m so excited to see at least 70%. I’m sorry. Back it up at least 65% of work done by the end of next week. And once we get the kitchen cabinets, we’re going to install them. We’re going to lay the countertops and this house will be ready to go on the market. So follow us.
